It’s time, you’re right, to fire those monster managers, but that means conflict, and most of the managers I know work hard to avoid conflict.
Spotting those managers is easier than people think — just look at certain positions employee turnover, listen in meetings to see who is being ignored or worse, demeaned, and pay attention to body language between employee and supervisor.
